A team effort: Milwaukee Brewers employee joined by her crew in support of Rogers

Fourteen employees from the Milwaukee Brewers front office selected Rogers Memorial Hospital Foundation to be the recipient of their Kindness in MKE donations.

Through this initiative, employees were given $100 each by the Brewers Community Foundation, Inc. to support a community nonprofit of their choosing. Morgan Schneider and several colleagues presented a $1,400 check to Matthias Schueth, executive vice president of the Foundation. The donation was inspired by Schneider’s personal exposure to Rogers Behavioral Health.

“I have spoken openly about my support for mental health and how the stigma around it needs to end,” explained Schneider. “With my personal connection to Rogers, I voiced my desire to support the Foundation and only invited others to join if they felt so inclined. I never would have expected so many of them to get on board, but it was incredible to see everyone come together for such a great cause. I have high hopes that this will continue the conversation of the importance of mental health, not only within our department but also expand to our organization and professional sports as a whole.”

The group’s contribution will be used to fund patient scholarships which help cover treatment costs for those with a financial need or a gap in insurance coverage.

Thank you to Morgan, her colleagues and to Brewers Community Foundation, Inc. for making it possible for us to extend life-transforming treatment to more patients.
