Lakeland Supply delivers joy with its special delivery of holiday gifts

The elves of Lakeland Supply usually spend their days filling sleighs (otherwise known as trucks) with customer orders for industrial supplies. But when Santa – (err… Rogers) put out a call for gift donations for children who will be in treatment, away from home, over the holidays, Lakeland staff got to work stacking toys, books, puzzles, art supplies, and cozy blankets for the boys and girls.

The Give for a Better Day initiative fit in perfectly with the Pewaukee, Wisconsin company’s mission, which includes giving back to the community and leaving every person they interact with better than they found them. The employees of Lakeland certainly lived out those words through their generosity this season.

Throughout November and early December, the human resources team visited each department to talk about the collection, which ensured children would have gifts and a twinkle in their eyes over the holidays. They also posted flyers throughout the lobby and in the shipping area. At the end of the drive, 43 employees filled several bins and donated $400 in cash so even more presents could be purchased!

“Rogers is a part of our community, and we are honored to support it,” said Jessica Menden, administrative specialist.

Thank you to the cheerful givers at Lakeland Supply. We are grateful.

Please, will you help us save more lives this year than ever before? Here’s how:

Make an impact by giving an end-of-year donation to Rogers Foundation. Your gift can be made to support one or all of our lifesaving initiatives, it can be given as a tribute gift for a friend or loved one, and it can be designated to the program or regional clinic of your choice. Your donations save lives!

May is Mental Health Month!
