Plastocon employees contribute a bucket load of holiday cheer

For several years, Plastocon Incorporated has stepped up and into the boots of Santa to brighten the stays of young patients at Rogers Behavioral Health over the holidays. It held its annual “Give for a Better Day” holiday giving drive this November, filling a festive barrel with colorful, engaging gifts. The Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, company promoted the gift drive through its internal memos and check stuffers.

Art supplies and classic board games like Sorry!, Trouble, and Guess Who? were dropped off by employees into a festively wrapped barrel that overflowed by the time the last employee made their final delivery.

“Christmas is a giving time,” said Bonni Chmielewski, human resources manager for the plastics fabricator. “It’s fun to help, especially children!”

We are so grateful to Plastocon Inc. for remembering the children at Rogers during the holidays once again this year. Thank you!

You can help make better days possible for someone struggling with a mental health or addiction challenge by making a year-end donation to Rogers Behavioral Health Foundation. Give to the area of greatest need, make your gift in honor or memory of a friend or loved one, or designate your funds to one of the Foundation’s initiatives closest to your heart. Your gift saves lives!

May is Mental Health Month! A “Give for a Better Day” coping skills drive held in conjunction with your business, school or civic organization is an excellent way to help patients at Rogers Behavioral Health fill their emotional toolkits with small, but effective, therapeutic items.
