As a part of their mission to provide support for local mental health services, Soaring Minds Inc has designated Rogers Memorial Hospital Foundation as the recipient of this special event. The funds raised will help ensure that children and teens going through treatment at Rogers Behavioral Health during the holiday season have gifts to open and festive parties to attend on their units.
Many people do not realize the extent of young patients served by Rogers whose severity of symptoms will make it unlikely that they will return home in time for the holidays, or whose family resources will make it prohibitive to participate in the gift-giving season. This can be an emotional time for many people, and it is especially so for those who may already be struggling with such mental health challenges as depression and anxiety.
We are thankful to Potbelly Sandwich Shop and Soaring Minds Inc for giving the gift of smiles to young patients throughout Rogers Behavioral Health this holiday season!
