On September 7, 2018, VJS Construction Services held its second annual golf outing benefiting four outstanding non-profit organizations that support youth development through education, wellness, and the arts. These organizations include: Rogers Memorial Hospital Foundation, YMCA of Greater Waukesha County, Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee.
The outing consisted of 144 golfers made up of VJS staff, subcontractors, and vendors who contributed $28,000 to the 2018 golf outing. The outing featured several events throughout the day followed by a reception honoring the non-profit organizations. Rogers Memorial Hospital Foundation is proud to have been selected as a recipient of this year’s proceeds. Each non-profit will receive proceeds from the event.
With the its headquarters located in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, not far from Rogers Behavioral Health’s primary campus, VJS has been a long-time partner for remodeling and construction projects at a variety of Rogers’ locations throughout southeastern Wisconsin and across the country. The golf outing was created as an opportunity for VJS to express appreciation to its subcontractors for their partnership in achieving recognizable outcomes on behalf of outstanding non-profit organizations, such as Rogers Memorial Hospital Foundation, and for helping them live up to their motto, “Building with Purpose. Changing Lives.”
