The employees at Lakeland Supply spend their days supplying people with important things they need to do their work. And they do the same for Rogers Behavioral Health Foundation in our gift drive. This long-time donor and philanthropic neighbor donated items to support patients who remain in treatment over the holidays, dedicated to the hard work of recovery.
The Give for a Better Day initiative fit in perfectly with the Pewaukee company’s mission, which includes giving back to the community and leaving every person they interact with better than they found them.
Every year, the company’s generosity amazes us – it grows every year! This year, Lakeland had more employees participate than last year, and they raised nearly $200 more than the year before, collecting $580 in cash donations and 20 gift items. It was a marvelous display of kindness – and it led to a colorful pile of presents!
“We promoted it through email, flyers within the building, and I visited each department to discuss it,” said administrative specialist Jessica Menden, who noted that the drive lasted five weeks. “Lakeland sees the difference Rogers makes in these children’s lives and wants to continue to support their efforts. We want to support organizations within our community – especially the children as they are our future!”
