At Lakeland Supply, hearts are filled with a desire to make a difference, as evidenced by their generous donation of blankets, balls, journals, books, fuzzy socks, hats, and games to support patients during Rogers Foundation’s Give for a Better Day Holiday Gift Drive.
This donation drive was more than just an effort—it was a testament to the power of community and compassion.
“The Lakeland Supply team contributed to the drive by collecting donations, and then a few team members used the funds to purchase gifts for the cause,” said Sophia Schmidt, relationship manager at Lakeland Supply. “Items were chosen that we thought would offer warmth, entertainment, and a sense of care to brighten patients’ days.”
In a world filled with countless deserving causes, Lakeland Supply chose Rogers and the Give for a Better Day Holiday Drive because their mission aligns with the company’s values. Mental health and addiction challenges affect many lives, and the Foundation’s work to improve treatment, education, advocacy, and research is transformative. The organization brings hope and healing to individuals and their families, and Lakeland Supply was honored to support such impactful efforts. Their decision to contribute was a way of saying, “You are seen, cared for, and supported.”
Through this heartfelt donation, Lakeland Supply aimed not only to provide comfort and joy but also to inspire others to join in creating ripples of kindness. Together, communities can lift each other up and build a brighter, more compassionate world.
