A local business devoted to positivity and health strengthened their relationship with Rogers after hosting a gift drive in November. Pure Barre in Delafield, Wisconsin, a fitness center that neighbors Rogers Behavioral Health in Oconomowoc, encouraged its 175 members and 18 staff members to donate items to patients who were going through treatment over the holidays.
Before and after their barre classes, as well as in their newsletter and daily announcements, Pure Barre staff announced the donation drive. The overflowing box in the lobby did its own advertising, too! Members and staff together donated $10 gift cards to a variety of stores, warm socks, stuffed animals, and toys. This show of generosity was the brainchild of a Pure Barre member, Erika Smith, but it was very much in keeping with the mission of the company and the close-knit membership.
“We believe it is crucial to be a positive influence and set a high standard in our community,” said Kari Lawlor, general manager of Pure Barre Delafield. “We have a very welcoming and friendly community at our facility who love to come together, especially when times call for it. Holidays can be very stressful for families, and if our contribution can help brighten the day of one child, then we call that a success!”
Thank you, Pure Barre. We are grateful.
